  • Since XML seems like a step in the right direction for smart documents and the future of the web in contrast to inconsistent web pages and bad websites, the websites I've built and revised recently have been using standards and validation from the World Wide Web Consortium's web design guidelines, including HTML 4 with Stylesheets (comprehensive list of style commands), XHTML, Javascript/Ecmascript (game | popups) , and HTML tidy.
